MyNursingFellow is a safe space to think, built for nursing and for anyone doing the long hours of caring. It is not a medical provider, and it is not a substitute for your own judgment, your charge nurse, your facility's protocol, or your doctor or your child's pediatrician.
MyNursingFellow is a thinking partner powered by the Anthropic Claude large language model. It is a safe place to think out loud through the long hours of caring: to talk a hard shift through, to steady yourself before walking back in, to work through a rough night with the baby, and to set down some of what the work asks you to carry. It is there in the small hours, when the people who care for everyone else rarely have anyone there for them.
It is built with the professional nurse in mind, and with the nursing parent too, and you do not have to be either one to find it useful. It works alongside your day. It can help you reason through options, name what you are noticing, and find footing again.
MyNursingFellow can only work from what you share, and it cannot see the full picture the way you can in the room. Nothing here is a formal assessment, diagnosis, or determination. Please be careful with details that could identify a patient: your duty of confidentiality is yours, and you can think a situation through here without naming the person at the center of it.
MyNursingFellow is powered by Anthropic's Claude, an AI trained with Constitutional AI, an approach designed to make a system helpful, honest, and genuinely useful to the person in front of it, rather than a black box optimized to keep you engaged.
That distinction is the whole point of your Fellow. It is not here to replace your charge nurse, your team, your doctor, or your own judgment. It is here to give you a place to think and to put some footing back under you, so you can keep doing the work and stay connected to the people who do it with you.
The people who care for others are often the last to have anyone care for them. A Fellow exists to give some of that back: a quiet place to set the weight down for a minute and think clearly. If a situation needs a real human, a colleague, your charge nurse, a doctor, your Fellow will say so plainly, because that is the part that actually keeps people safe. The goal is more capacity to keep showing up, and more connection to the people around you, not more dependence on an app.
